What to do when you refill a prescription
When you would like a refill on a medication, or change pharmacies for an existing prescription, the FIRST call you should make is to your pharmacist? Your pharmacist will send an electronic refill request to your health care provider who can respond to it more quickly than when you leave a message for the provider via telephone. Electronic refill requests are safer and faster than conventional telephone requests. In addition, if you elect to change pharmacies, your pharmacist can simply send your current prescriptions to the new pharmacy via electronic media as well.
Insurance costs
Changes in your insurance policy may cost you more "out of pocket" than you anticipate. At the beginning of each renewal year, insurance deductibles, co-pays and co insurance costs begin again. Typically this is also a time when insurance companies and employers review covered benefits and make adjustments to these benefits. Often times this can result in added out of pocket costs for you. Please review your health insurance benefits and be aware of any changes in your policy that may affect your costs for care. Eagan Child and Family Care providers make every attempt to give high quality, cost effective care.
The PAC
Eagan Child and Family Care has a patient advisory committee? The Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) was primarily responsible for the design and construction of the new office on Highway 13. In addition the patient advisory committee plays a key role in our Health Care Homes initiative. If you would like to become a member of this committee, please contact Chrissy at 651-209-8640. .
